Erik comes to you from Washington State. Still a little green to the southern California life style, he has adapted nicely to the weather, smog, and crime that you southern Californians hold so dear to your lives. Erik has been doing improv shows for ten years now. Which makes you wonder does practice make perfect? He started in a tiny space in Gig Harbor, WA called the Paradise Theater with a troop called Improv-o-Rama. He then helped found a new group called the Laughter League. After the lead singer of the League died in a heroine overdose while flying a plane and choking on a ham sandwich, the League found them selves bathing in the tides of change. Troy quit and Ryan got married (they should have known they would never get far). But when Erik looks back now, he thinks that summer seemed to last forever. If he had the choice he would always want to be there. Those were some of the best days of his life. After the summer of ‘69 he walked on to a semi pro football team and played for five seasons with the West Sound Orcas. He soon was offered a scholarship to play college ball for non other the Golden West Rustlers in Huntington Beach. So he packed up his bags and moved HB. There had a great season, but his aging body made it difficult to play the following year so he hung up his cleats and started looking for a new gig. That’s when he stumbled into the Maverick Theater. They took Erik in, feed him, bathed him and helped get his life back on track. He did what he could to help out the Maverick team by performing in various shows such as- It’s a Wonderful Life, Romeo & Juliet, The King, Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged and The Rocky Horror Show. He found that despite his hideously deformed figure that children understood him and thought he was funny so he was picked up by Improv Shmimprov. He is buried at the Maverick Theater in Fullerton, where he has sold his soul to Brian Newell for a pack of smokes and a box of Franzia.
